The statue of Yalamber,frist kirat king, which was erected 16 years ago in Mudhe Bazaar of Tamafok-8 Sankhuwasabha, has turned to runs for lack of protection.The 14-feel statue was erected at Rs550,000, including funds the government and the located at 2400 meters can be seen from various parts of eastern Nepal. According to Rishi Keshav Chapagain of CPN-UML ,parts of the statue have been stolen"The statue awaites renovation," he added . however, a commetiee for its proctection is not serving its purpos.
